Folk & music evening lights up Baramulla

An evening of folk and Sufi music brought the community of Baramulla together in a heartfelt celebration of Kashmir's living musical heritage.

Local and emerging artists took the stage with the santoor, rabab and tumbaknari, filling the night with melodies that have echoed through the valley for generations. Families, neighbours and music lovers gathered under the open sky to share in the rhythm and soul of Kashmiri folk music.

Events like these are at the heart of our mission — keeping traditions alive, supporting local performers, and creating spaces where the community can come together around its shared heritage. The overwhelming response has encouraged us to plan many more such evenings across the region.
